SWN Newsletter
Members are encouraged to advertise in the Network News. It is an extremely cost-effective, efficient way to publicize your business to the members and friendsof SWN. (ad rates below.)

The newsletter deadline is always the Friday after the luncheon for inclusion in the following month’s newsletter.

Advertising order forms are inserted in every newsletter and should be filled out and mailed to the SWN post office box with payment and any artwork, etc.There is also an ad form you can download on this website.(See panel at left)

Ads must be paid for prior to publication.

There is a $20 minimum set-up fee for ads that are not camera ready.* Professional design is offered at a special rate for SWN members and may be negotiated with the newsletter editor. Ads designed by the SWN editor may not be reproduced without permission.

*The definition of a camera ready ad: “...a paste-up or slick ready to be photographed. No type is to be set; no art is to be added or resized; no further treatment is needed.” It should be clean, black copy on white paper; no fax copies are permitted. It must conform to the size requirements as specified. Photos or half-tones should be pre-screened at 120 lpi.

Approximately 500 newsletters are published monthly and are avidly read by members and non-members alike. The Network News offers a GREAT opportunity for you to get your name in front of people.

For example, the News and Kudos column is your chance to toot your own horn. Let us know if you have recently received an award, special recognition, promotion, honor, changed jobs, etc. — any success you’d like to brag about! Share your good news with other members.

Advertising rates are listed below. They are also published monthly in the masthead section of the newsletter and in the roster. Advertising is accepted from members only. Design services are available from the Publications Editor at a nominal charge.

All ads must be paid for in advance.There is a 20% discount for 6x rate and all ads must be paid for in advance at one time.

Members are welcome to place inserts in the newsletter. Insertion costs are $75 for one member, or two members may sharean insert (one side each) at a cost of $50 for each member. Arrangements should be made with the newsletter editor. We prefer to receive an original and make copies from it. The cost of copies is $25.00 for 500.

Electronic Advertising Specifications:

We do accept digital ads, formatted at the sizes listed to the left. Ads can be in the form of JPEGs, EPS files, TIFF files, Bitmap files or (preferably) PDF files. We do not accept ads produced in Microsoft Word or Wordperfect. Faxed ads are also not accepted.

The newsletter is produced on a Macintosh system, so ads produced in the following programs are also accepted: QuarkXpress, Freehand, Illustrator, Photoshop or Ready,Set,Go. Please include all fonts and graphics with your ad. Do not send us the only copy of your ad!

Digital files should be compressed using Stuffit or an equivilent compression program, or converted to PDF via Adobe Acrobat if transporting via the internet. Please, no files over 2 MB! Send the file as an attachment to: editor@stocktonwomensnetwork.org

You may also ship or deliver your ad on floppy disk, CD, or 100 MB Zip disks. Please email the editor at editor@stocktonwomensnetwork.org
