Maria Nemeth, licensed clinical psychologist, Master Certified Coach, author and internationally renowned lecturer, founded the Academy for Coaching Excellence in 2002. Her ground-breaking programs and courses, fine-tuned over twenty years, prepare people in different professions to use coaching skills in every day life. A former Associate Professor, Clinical Psychology, California State University Dominguez Hills and an Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Calif. State Univ. Davis School of Medicine, she has thirty years' experience in design and delivery of training programs for public, private and non-profit centers (alcoholism, substance abuse, rape, suicide, employee assistance and crisis counseling). She also has twenty years experience in coaching and counseling individuals and groups in state and federal agencies, and profit and non-profit corporate settings as well as coaching and counseling individuals on a private, fee-for-service, basis. Dr. Nemeth has devoted her life to supporting others in achieving their goals with clarity, focus, ease and grace.

Maria Nemeth is the author of several books. Her newest book, Mastering Life’s Energies, is written with the intent to make these principles widely available. Her central question when presenting is, “Would it be all right with you if life got easier?” Thousands have attended her training after answering “yes” to this question, and are changing the way they live and work. The effect is nothing less than extraordinary. Maria also authored Energy of Money: A spiritual guide for your relationship with money, published by Ballantine-Wellspring in 1999, is available in five languages. Her nine-hour audio-cassette series The Energy of Money, won the 1999 Audie Award for best Personal Development Series.
